Left Brain Right Brain
How can someone, me, who is exceptionally analytical be in touch with their creativity? How can someone like me who is innate to logic and reason learn to simply just love? It's like a huge contradiction....

I love the top cartoon with the left brain/right brain caricatures. But I think it's important to remember that that is a caricature and it oversimplifies. Yes, one side or the other may be dominant, but we need and use both. Some of the most creative people are very analytical, and left-brained people are not all cubicle drones! We are a complex mixture in every way, including which parts of our brains we use. It's not an either/or thing -- it's a question of learning to use your dominant brainishness (I know there's a proper word for that) and developing skills you need from the other side as well.
